You must not have five cumulative fails, and must have passed all parts of the USMLE
and the Clinical Skills Exam in seven years from start to finish.
- Does your program have any restrictions on year of graduation?
We prefer applicants who have not been out of medical school or clinical practice
for more than five years.
- Do you accept Foreign Medical Graduate’s (FMG) in your program?
Yes, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certified, but
we do not sponsor visas. However, if you can secure one, you are eligible to apply.
- Does your program require any US clinical experience?
No, but it is recommended.

We receive between 200 and 300 applications each year.
- When should I take my Step II Boards?
To eliminate the possibility of not being ranked due to the delay of a program getting
your results we recommend taking Step II Boards before December.
- What is the difference between Categorical and Primary Care options on ERAS?
- Categorical – provides training to applicants who enter in their first post graduate
year and continue until comlpetion of training required for specialty certification
- Primary Care – is the type of residency position offered
We do not offer a preliminary year position. However, if we do not fill in the match,
we will consider other applications through the scramble process.
